Widgets Anywhere is an Android customization app that lets you use compatible widgets (typically designed for the home screen) in various locations, including over the lock screen. It provides a page-based, movable framework where you can add, resize, reorder, and manage multiple widgets. The app also features a swipe-accessible widget drawer, home screen widget stacks, Tasker and shortcut integration, and support for displaying selected widgets via Samsung Quick Settings tiles. It requires Android 7.0 or later and is not designed for Always-On Display screens.
LOCK SCREEN WIDGETS
Widgets Anywhere brings customizable widgets directly to your lock screen via a flexible, floating framework. You can add almost any compatible home screen widget, assign each widget its own page, or group multiple widgets together. The framework itself can be moved and resized, while widgets can be reordered, resized, edited, or temporarily hidden using gestures.
- Add compatible widgets over the Android lock screen.
- Organize multiple widgets across customizable pages.
- Resize, move, reorder, and temporarily hide widgets.
WIDGET DRAWER AND STACKS
Beyond lock screen customization, Widgets Anywhere offers a swipe-accessible widget drawer that can be opened from various areas of the Android interface. Integration with Tasker and shortcuts offers additional ways to launch this drawer. A widget stacking feature also allows you to place multiple widgets in a single space on your home screen and switch between them as needed.
- Open the widget drawer with a convenient swipe gesture.
- Use Tasker or shortcuts to access the widget drawer.
- Combine multiple widgets into a stack on your home screen.
SAMSUNG QUICK SETTINGS AND CUSTOMIZATION
Widgets Anywhere extends widget access via compatible tiles in Samsung’s “Quick Settings” menu, allowing you to display a selected widget directly from that area. The app is open-source and compatible with Android 7.0 or later. On Android 13 and newer versions, certain advanced modes may require additional setup involving Shizuku or ADB, depending on the specific feature enabled.
